These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Resona website, parent portal, messaging, and voice services. By creating an account or using Resona, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service scope

Resona provides AI-powered companion communication tools and a guardian-facing portal for transcript visibility, safety event review, and account management. Features may change, be modified, or discontinued at any time.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

• You must be authorized to create and manage the account and any household profiles you configure.
• You are responsible for maintaining account security and all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information.

3. AI services and limitations

Resona uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI-generated outputs:

• may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate;
• should not be relied upon as professional, medical, or legal advice;
• may vary and are not guaranteed to be consistent.

You are responsible for reviewing and supervising use of the service.

4. Plans, credits, and billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly unless otherwise stated.
• Plans may include usage credits; additional usage is billed based on metered pricing.
• Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Messaging program disclosures

Message frequency varies by account activity and settings. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP. To unsubscribe, reply STOP.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Resona for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful activity, including:

• bypassing safety controls;
• unauthorized access attempts;
• misuse of communication systems.

7. Safety and limitations

Resona is not a medical, therapeutic, or emergency service. In urgent situations, contact local emergency services immediately.

8. User content and data

You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant Resona a limited license to process and use such content solely to operate, improve, and maintain the service.

9. Intellectual property

Resona, including its software, branding, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10. Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access for:

• policy violations;
• abuse or misuse;
• non-payment;
• security or legal concerns.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resona disclaims all implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resona, its affiliates, and operators from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
